The Koblenz Cultural Foundation encouraged the friends of the Mother Beethoven House to hold its special concert series in the chamber music hall with all of Ludwig van Beethoven’s violin sonatas. Through its friendly financial support in 2016 and 2017 it helped significantly in the preparations for the master’s 250th<\/sup> birthday in 2020: the exhibition could once again be presented in a contemporary manner – as a flagship of culture in Koblenz.<\/p>\n

The Koblenz City Music School has been offering instrumental lessons for the residents of Ehrenbreitstein in the chamber music hall of the Mother Beethoven House for several years.<\/p>\n

It has supported our friends‘ association from the very beginning among other things by financing the general overhaul of the aging Schimmel grand piano. It is the property of the music school and is always available to the friends of the MBH association for sophisticated concerts.<\/p>\n

In addition the music school repeatedly provides non-material support for many musical events. One example is the performance of all of Ludwig van Beethoven’s violin sonatas with professional virtuosos. For this we owe a great deal of gratitude to the school’s principal Hans-Peter L\u00f6rsch and his music teachers.<\/p>\n

In 2015 the JoHo Sch\u00e4ngel Foundation Koblenz gave us a donation for the concert for young musical talents „Debut in MBH 2016“, which was presented by the mayor Prof. Dr. Joachim Hofmann-G\u00f6ttig.<\/p>\n
