Inauguration of the Rudi Scheuermann plaque on the Beethoven sculpture in the courtyard of the Mother Beethoven House.
There will be a small speech with musical accompaniment. The daughter of the deceased artist will be present.

Kinski Trio Prague

The sponsors of Mutter Beethoven Haus invite you to the evening of Mother’s Day, 11.05.2025, at 18:00. The Kinsky Trio Prague will play piano trios by Ravel, Schubert and Dvořák in the chamber music hall of the house. The sponsors are happy to have won these three musicians on their way to concerts in the Netherlands and Great Britain for a musical stop in Koblenz. The pianist Matyás Novak has won several prizes at Czech piano competitions, the violinist Lucie Sedláková and her husband, the cellist Martin Sedlak, have been performing together for many years and together lead the international Pelegrina chamber music courses at the Conservatory in České Budějovice.

As always, admission is free, donations are welcome. Registration is not required. The museum is open on this day from 14:00-18:00.

On Sunday, 16/03/2025, the traditional "Debut in the Mutter Beethoven Haus" took place in Ehrenbreitstein in beautiful spring weather, which the patrons of the house are now hosting for the 10th year in a row. It was aimed at prize winners of the regional competition Jugend Musiziert, who presented parts of their programme to an audience before the state competition in Mainz. Due to the exceptionally high level of interest, the concert was presented in 2 parts – the younger musicians in the early afternoon and the older ones in the late afternoon. A total of 30 children and young people (8-18 years) had registered in 20 ensembles or as soloists, and so there was a wide range of musical styles and instruments - from baroque to romantic to pop and original compositions, recorder, flutes, oboe, clarinets, guitars, violins, cellos with and without piano accompaniment soloists and chamber music ensembles.
