There are concerts in the chamber music hall of the Mother Beethoven House on a regular basis.

November 9, 2025: Piano concert by Gerhard Richner

October 26, 2025: Piano cabaret with Dr. Eisel, Bonn

In his “Beethoven-Bonnensis” concert, Dr. Stephan Eisel also discussed in detail the life of Beethoven’s mother, Maria Magdalena, née Keverich, widowed Leym, as a member of the Electoral Trier residence Ehrenbreitstein. The link to the Electoral Cologne residence in Bonn was Maria Magdalena’s relative (second cousin) Johann Konrad Rovantini, who had moved to Bonn for a better-paid position, which initiated the connection between Johann van Beethoven (Bonn) and Maria Magdalene (Ehrenbreitstein). Rovantini was also the young Ludwig’s teacher in Bonn.
