Founding of the association

On August 24 in 2011 future sponsors met to establish a support association in the concert hall of the Mother Beethoven House in Ehrenbreitstein. The association “Supporters of the Mother Beethoven House” was founded and the board was unanimously elected by those present.

The statutes were last changed on November 19 in 2011 and can be viewed and downloaded HERE as a PDF document. You can contribute to the preservation of the Mother Beethoven House as a member or as a non-member.

Inauguration of the Rudio Scheuermann plaque on the Beethoven bust

A plaque commemorating the Koblenz sculptor Rudi Scheuermann, who died in 2016, was unveiled at the Mutter-Beethoven-Haus (MBH) museum in Ehrenbreitstein. He was commissioned by the Deinhard Foundation to create a Beethoven head in 1989, which can now be seen in the courtyard of the Mother Beethoven House in Ehrenbreitstein. Numerous friends and supporters of the MBH attended the unveiling. The plaque was donated by the Friends of the MBH.
